My week has been pretty good as well. That week that it got a bit rainy gave us a false hope, because it stopped raining again and we are back to no running water, just a big drum in the kitchen with water. So more bucket showers, hole for the bathroom and so on. :) But I am surprised at how used to it I have gotten and you really realize how little you actually need to live. I like getting to live more like the people here, however I definitely won't complain when we can get running water back :)
I don't have a whole lot to say about this last week except I am so grateful to be here in Kilungu. I have grown to love these people so much and I don't know if I've even been able to teach them half as much as they've taught me. The Gospel really does bring happiness into our lives and I have seen it in action in so many peoples lives here, and the Book of Mormon can answer any question anyone can have. The church is true!

Interesting things about Kilungu Hills
One interesting thing here in Kilungu is that almost nobody has electricity wired to their house, I have seen quite a few houses that have solar panels on top. Inside they usually have a big car battery or something like that so they can power a light bulb at night or charge their cell phones, etc. I find it funny, it's not what I pictured of Africa.
Something else cool is that on my way back to Kilungu from Nairobi I saw some wild wildabeast! it was pretty cool, Then that same day we saw 2 wild monkeys running across the street. They were big ones! I definitely would not want to make one of them mad, they looked like they could be mean. I think they are called black faced monkeys, that is what a member told us.
